Unsere inneren Bilder sind Teil der mentalen Maschinerie, die die Angst kontrolliert, sich an psychischen Verletzungen nährt, diese in Bilder transformiert und ihre Wirkung abschwächt. Dieses innere Bildrepertoire schützt uns vor zu viel Realität und materialisiert Erfahrung. Die ungarische Künstlerin Márta Czene verbindet realistische Auffassung und Momentaufnahmen mit inneren Bildern, deren projizierte Gestaltungsformen sich oft auf Filme beziehen. Ihre künstlerischen Bestrebungen führen zur Ausführung eines totalen Realismus – lebendige Bilder, die der eklektischen, vernetzten Methode unserer Wahrnehmung der täglichen Realität am nächsten kommen. Our inner images are part of the mental machinery that controls fear, feeds on psychic injuries, transforms them into images and lessens their effect. This inner image set protects us from too much reality, and materializes experience. The Hungarian artist Márta Czene mixes realistic perception and the pictures of moments with these inner images whose projected forms draw upon films. Her efforts lead her to create total realism, vivid pictures that are the closest to the eclectic, linked method of our perception of everyday reality, and its final interpretation is given by the audience. The Strabag Artaward International art subsidy prize of Strabag SE for painting and drawing is one of the largest grants from an Austrian company for the visual arts. From 2009 until 2011, artists from Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia are eligible to participate. It is to be understood as a recognition for outstanding individual artistic performance and is intended for the younger generation of artists up to the age of forty who seek to bring their works closer to an audience from the worlds of art and economics.
